Mindful Mama Movement
Shannon and Ashley met over 15 years ago, through their common love of yoga. Ashley took Shannon’s yoga classes when she was mothering her young children. Shannon turned to Ashley’s yoga classes when she was pregnant with her first son, desperate to find a new midwife and doula late in her pregnancy. Together they created a deep bond and friendship that have been a source of comfort and support for each other in motherhood and in life.
Being visionaries and leaders, Shannon and Ashley see the support and encouragement moms need as the world seems to be getting more stressful. Whether it’s launching self-discovery and life coaching programs, leading progressive birth education and doula services, or hosting a podcast that invites moms to be their imperfect and beautiful selves while embracing the mess of life, Shannon and Ashley are wildly passionate about empowering women.
The Mindful Mama Movement Podcast is a safe and sacred place mothers in all stages of motherhood can turn to – to feel inspired and uplifted, to learn new holistic tips and resources, and to feel supported as they build trust in themselves and in their unique children.

Hi, I’m Shannon
I am the founder of A Free Spirit Life, where you can rediscover your true nature, make space for your dreams and be who you are.
As a spiritual health and wellness life coach, intuitive healer and artist, I offer courses, retreats, coaching sessions, Human Design readings and inspiring products that help you experience peace, joy and freedom that comes when you remember what you already know deep down inside – that you are complete, whole, and beautiful – just as you are.
My three boys are 14, 12, and 9, and when I’m not working or hanging with the family, you’ll find me sipping an iced coffee, playing with my watercolors or hiking in my favorite places in nature.

Hi, I’m Ashley
I am the owner of Home Holistic, a one-stop-yoga and wellness center in Overland Park, Kansas.
Home Holistic began as my dream to support mamas and their families, providing all the classes and treatments families and individuals want and need under one roof. It’s something I wished I had access to when my children were young.
It has been an honor to serve the mothers that visit our center and beyond.
I am a yoga teacher, birth doula, childbirth educator, marriage and family therapist and cranial sacral practitioner.
I’m the mom to four boys, ranging in ages from 18 – 28. When I’m not at the studio or hanging with my family, you’ll find me soaking up the sunshine in my backyard.
